Is This a Special Situation?

In this special situation, you are supposed to have the stock in your portfolio before. This is as an assumption based arbitrage situation. Let me give you an example which I have come across recently and let me know if this fits into the special situation. These here announced a buyback in January when the share price was about 3800 rupees or 3900 rupees,. The buyback price announced was 4500 rupees. So there's a clear cut off return expectation of the return that you can buy and investigate your share before the buyback. And people who were participated will actually make a return till 4500.
