The Importance of Race in the Publishing Industry
The lack of equality within book publishing is a major theme of my own research. I wanted to talk about race in the publishing industry by talking about what whiteness is doing. And so what white systems are doing and these systems and the publishing industry is built upon these like deeply colonial kind of, you know, racist systems for understanding knowledge.
