I really struggled with that but how I was able to get through was by shutting down all aspects of my life. Ultimately you're writing for in the UK writing for your examiners but in the US that's more blurred isn't it and so this sense of are you happy with the work is very important. as you say actually that's why that's the big job for we in the UK We have the kind of the supervisor and advisor in the US It's the committee to look at the work and to monitor the work, she says.
