How to Protect Your Mitochondrial DNA
When the mitochondria are generating all that great ATP for you, guess what? There's a byproduct called free radicals. Your DNA are constantly getting damaged because they're sitting exactly where the free radicals are. And so when your mitochondria DNA get damaged, your health gets damaged. So why is this happening? Or what do we do to stop it? Well, there's two strategies and I'm going to talk about both of them. We can reduce the free radicals and you can remove them. The best thing is intermittent fasting, either long term fat or algae using nothing at all. But again, if you adopt a low carb or keto diet, you have fewer carbs being produced
