The Law and the Prophets
The sermon on the mount has been, however you view, a collection of teachings. It's not about loving others as yourself must be some kind of selfish. I think it has more to do with with empathy. This is like your thinking outside of your own little world and imagining what it might be like to live as some one else. The ere n get going. Therefore all such things as you wish men might do to you, so do to them as well. For this is the law. Next week is false prophet so we'll keep that tinder box going.
