There's a fear mongering around this idea that we often have this kind of model with te economy. And i think that that fearmongering, which then sort of justifies this policy ogenderis really based on particular ways of thinking about the economy - which are fairly widespread. The project has dug in to how people think about this and found an acknowledged ignorance from many people who were interviewed for it. That opens space for what you can see play out in these moments: Te sense that the economy is something that's best left to experts.
