Genetic Conflict and the Importance of a Model
Theories of social evolution can be very general and not helpful for anyone, says evolutionary biologist. "What we want from a model is probably quite different than if you want to come up with a really general framework that always holds" Theories are like poetry: They're having a good time, but it's a very small circle. And what they're saying is just like, not only incomprehensible, but not very useful or interesting as far as a wider audience is concerned.
