The Irony of the 90s Comedy
There are some good 90s comedians. I'm going to talk about that, mate. You guys hate the 90s and love the 80s. Let's just get into a little bit of comedy theory of the moment. The structure of irony creates two audiences, right? One of which is like the naive audience who doesn't get the double meaning of irony. And the other one is the knowing audience who recognizes the double meaning. There's the humor comes from the complicity between the knowing audience and the comedian or the teller.
