Are Republicans Right That Our Debt Is Out of Control?
There is no doubt that Republicans have had a hand in running up the debt and there's no doubt that Democrats have had a major hand in that too. I mean, I also think that it's really disingenuous because Republicans agreed to these nonfunded tax cuts under Trump. The federal deficit came down from $3 trillion to $1 trillion under Biden. And for the Biden administration to tout deficit savings as a result of that is, I think a little suspect.
