The concern is that we've got the this picture of God's relationship to our our meritorious acts. And it might seem like that act is is ultimately up to God not ultimately up to me. If that's right, then the act doesn't satisfy those conditions for free will. Which suggests that I do need the ability to do otherwise and the act does need to be ultimately up tome. Right. This seems like a problem just on a philosophical level, but if if it really did take away freedom it would be a problem.
