Is the Analogy With War Really Legitimized?
In many cases sunctions are not so much intended to take life, as much as to produce a particular kind of impoverished and subordinated life. This makes it far more amenable to exportation and domination. They are also, finally, a practical, i think, limitations to the analogy with war,. First, legally, but also politically. I think the strategy, by now has was tried, and it has largely failed.
