Prisoners were subject to harrowing sessions of forced singing. One former prisoner recalled whoever didn't know the song was beaten. In 19 36, there was some kind of a camp orchestra playing during roll calls. When somebody had tried to flee from the camp, usually the people were caught and brought back. And in some cases, the camp orchestra had to play music during thes execution.
