The Crusades: A Black Eye for the Church

There was lots of people who were against the Templars for that very reason. They were not completely welcomed by all aspects of Christianity. The Crusades to me is still troubling and a black eye for the church. But it wasn't nearly as this big as I guess I thought it was.
