The Meaningfulness of Illness

Rik came to america as an exile and became obsessed with trying to prove that his ideas were right. He started carrying out experiments on mis and he started sort of re fashioning himself as a scientist. And i think in rihe's mind, the idea of repression and stuck energy became caught up with the idea of cancer and became very literalized. So these things that can afflict our bodies, perhaps emotionally or dynamically, then became hardened into the idea that when we become unhappy or traumatized, or don't have a fluid, open sexuality, we begin to get sick, we get cancer. Illness is absolutely random and has nothing to do with you as a person.
