"We haven't really seen like, you know, any of these cryptocurrency exchanges or in a lot of these applications and services provide uses outside of heavily financialized ones," he says. "There are some possible uses or applications of blockchain technology that might be interesting if you take away the speculative asset,. But it's revealing that none of those have really come about."
