There have been various attempts to come up with a percentage of global carbon emissions that fashion is responsible for. I just wonder if there's any point trying to do this at all, because how do you disentangle all the things? Lots of synthetic fibres are made as kind of by products from oil. So is that oil, or is that separate from oil? Yet?
