Gresham college was founded by financier Thomas gresham in the 15 hundreds. It's not a standard university, it exists just to give these free public lectures. The subject titles are geometry, astronomy, music, rhetoric and jurisprudence. One thing that is missing from the list of names of past gresham professors of geometry are any women.
