The Different Cognitive Paths of a Case Presentation

I've been struggling with the difference between discussing a case presentation at morning report or doing a clinical problem solving exercise and having a patient in front of you. Could you tell me your thoughts about that? Yeah, I think they are virtually two different cognitive paths. The only way of course we get better is by doing the real authentic in-person discussion.
