What Will You Say About the Middle Platons?

It's hard to treat the middle platonists as one consistent group. But what you see is they have a rather selection of key passages that they are interested in, and they are studied very closely. What most authors in middle platonic times forgot about was the dialogical nature of plato's philosophy. The exceptions may be plutarch, his teacher, ammonius, and maybe also neumenius.
