Carbon and the Cookstove Projects

When we first went into the project, pricing was somewhere between 20 and 30 dollars. It then fell back to 50 cents a dollar - that pretty much stopped everything. We tend to get a premium because of all the co benefits that the stoves bring. So as well as the benefit of the carbon reduction, we provide a range of co benefits associated with that. One of the obvious ones is for women and children who typically have to go out and find the firewood and then cook. You can because or new stove reduces the firewood by 71%. And also the stove cooks at a much higher temperature.
