i don't think americans specifically have a healthy, any healthy thoughts about death. i find that form of saying good bye to somebody is antiquated and gross. Punctuality is the most important thing. Never be late. That's hard baked into a lot of people. I've read david graber, if youve read him, at all, no, hi's fuck and awesome. You look in the bat like, ppre industrial revolution, there was a time where clocks were kind of a novelty,. They were going more by daylight than by seconds. Now we're like that.
