Is There a Good Delineator of the Kind of Things That We're Talking About?
I suspect a lot of people don't move beyond the core of our role because they get a comfort and a confidence in doing the fundamentals. Particularly if the context allied with that is one where they are very much isolated and they don't have a lot of influence within their organisation. That's not a bad thing, but it's about giving them the kind of confidence and authority within the organisation to keep doing what they're doing and do the best they can for the volunteers. And it's hard for them to push on. So I do think association has that, to do this, but also give that good comfortable grounding so those who want to be more advanced can start exploring themselves as leaders inside
