The Glory of the Cross

Tertullian: In order to understand the cross, we must understand our own sin. Because of what Adam and Eve did in the garden, their sin was passed on to every subsequent human being born into this world, save Jesus Christ. Tertullian is saying central to what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ means that we live under the shadow of the cross.
