The pursuit of efficiency as a way to win the struggle with time will actually make you busier than before. Partly this is just a matter of quantity, but there's another dimension to this pitfall that I'm calling the efficiency trap. If you focus obsessively on trying to fit more and more into your day, you're likely to end up spending more and more of your time on the least important things.
