Kant's Propaganda Against Exploitation as an Evil
Kant was the father of the notion of exploitation as an evil thing. Degradation imposed by one man on another seems to him some kind of form of hideous maiming of other people. He thought values were entities which human beings, in some sense, generated themselves. To be unslave, like to be free, is therefore, in somesense, to commit yourself freely to moral values.
