The National and Beach House and It's Like a Mishearing
National and beach house are two of my favorite contemporary bands. They basically do monda green as their their lyrics, where you attempt to induce a mishearing in the person listening to you. It comes from sylvia right who misheard this um this this lyricUm and laid him down on the green and she misheard it as and lady monda green that's how she mis heard it. If anyone wants to listen to of from beach house and try like singing it back to yourself and then actually go look it up and see how close you got.
