Mentoring doesn't scale. It's sort of a myth that someone who ostensibly has more influence or power than you is going to stop what they're doing, truly understand you and coach you forward whenever he needs themi. That's really unlikely, and it certainly doesn'tscale. The alternative is to have it be that that person never knows that they're menter in you,. Because you are asking yourself, what would they do? And that idea of i understand the representation this person has brought to the world. Why if they were here, if the mahatma was here, what would he tell me to do?
