The Utilitarian Argument Against Lockdowns
There are three main arguments against lockdowns. One is a flat, libertarian argument that says I don't care about the consequences. The second one is a utilitarian argument: When you weigh the consequences of a lockdown, they are worse than the ills that one is trying to address. And the third is the lockdowns may be good or bad, but they're just the wrong tool.
