i have been playing a lot of aliens dark descent which is a aliens squad tactics game effectively with continuous not plausible but slowable time. pause is really good they've gotten really good at like auto pause systems and giving you fine-tuned control where it's like i have it set so that every time someone finishes an ability the game pauses. There's something fun about watching characters just hit those beats same thing as alien isolation rightWhere it's like do you know what's going on hell yeah of course you do you see an alien  the whole game was premised on like you like alien right and we do and we love seeing alien shit happen to people.
