The Christian Faith and the Origins of the Earth

Is modern science just completely wrong? If modern science is not completely wrong and it contradicts what the faith has to say about these issues, then that's obviously bad for the faith. You can believe in both an old earth and you can believe in evolution, including human evolution, and still be a good Catholic or Christian. So I defend the rights of young earth creationists. Unfortunately, some of them don't like that I'm not just only endorsing their side.
