Jeff Young: I love that our conversation has gone on these optimistic and the excitement of an insurgency. But with any insurgency, there are plenty of people who are like, whoa, that's not okay. He says if we can really seize back the public sphere from a dumbing down of mainstream media, this could be a great role for scholars.
