Is Hegel the Most Vital Source for Today's Political Predicament?
Todd: I was wondering if you're a knowledge of, or your reading of Hegel can help us sort of move past understanding the subject as necessarily embedded in an ideological system. So where is it in Hegel's writings, would you say, is the most vital source to look to you for today's political predicament? Todd: It's actually on absolute knowing and the phenomenology that you see the necessity of reconciling yourself to contradiction. And my feeling is that that's the heart of any leftist political project.
