Is It a Therapy Versus a Vacation Ad?
The effectiveness of anti depressence had a big correlation with the effectiveness of placibus. In trials where there is a placibo control, the effect sized for anti depression is not terribly large. But it's also the case for therapy for depression, the effect size is not terribly arge. If liman a stone on twitter recently brought u the point of light, what if it was like therapy versus a vacation ad? You know, if you were just comparing it to something else that's nothing to do with therapy, it's not clear that therapy's better.
