The Knowledge Problem in Food Banks
The market is like a big calculator, and it can aggregate all f this information. The top of the organization just doesn't know about the solution that the alaskan food bank has worked out in terms of being able to ship from california. If we think that's hard to have within an organization, imagine if you were trying to do that for the entire economy. It's a colossal challenge, and really no one's up to the task.
