The History of Baseball Cards

During the Great Depression, kids couldn't go to ball games and cards really served as a way for them to stay connected to the sport. But during all these years, the first half of the 20th century, cards were always used as what markers would call premium. And that started to change around the time tops came along in the 1950s.
