The Role of Socrates in the Corruption of Athens
Socrates was accused by his fellow Athenians of corrupting the youth of Athens because he had been going around ancient Athens asking people questions about the nature of justice or virtue. He succeeded in embarrassing a lot of people and then over time he developed a sort of entourage of young aristocratic Athenian men who thought him around as they enjoyed these conversations. And so I guess what props the injunction to know myself from Socrates is even though he's being put to death, he still sees his role as one to provoke and motivate his fellow Olympians to be more self-aware.
