About our guests:
Akhtar Badshah is an educator, artists, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the author of Purpose Mindset: How Microsoft Inspires Employees and Alumni to Change the World. He is a faculty member at the University of Washington and has recently launched his own podcast Living with Purpose.
Dr. Badshah is the Distinguished Practitioner at University of Washington at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, the Business School, at the Bothell campus and a faculty advisor at the START Center in the Department of Global Health. His work is focused on exploring the intersection between the social impact of space and development.
He is also the Chief Catalyst at Catalytic Innovators Group where he advises organizations and individuals to catalyze their strategy focused on social and philanthropic investments. He also conducts Purpose Mindset leadership Workshops with organizations to help individuals articulate their strengths and values and craft their purpose statement.
Dr. Badshah is also the author of 4 books with his most recent book Purpose Mindset: How Microsoft Inspires Employees and Alumni to Change the World, was published by Harper Collins Leadership in Nov 2020. He has also published numerous papers on subject ranging from urban development to acceptance of covid vaccines in health care workers in Nigeria.
