Are Cultivated Plantations Good Enough to Replace Forests?
Private parties can now cultivate plantations and then sell them as land to companies who need to meet this compensatory aforestation targets. Can these cultivated plantations really be considered as for that are good enough to replace whatever forests youare sort of r destroying? Or for for that matter, we also have this carbon sink targets that india has committed to. So in so i think we need to be very clear that compensatory a forestation and the forest divergent processes forest conservation act has always looked at.
