The Turkish army has very actively promoted the type of ethnoreligious nationalism that prevailed this week in Turkey. There's been members of the army leadership who have been kind of Eurasianist in orientation for some time now. I think we're going to see more of this al-Aqarz type of geopolitics working in many ways organically and closer with Moscow and Putin than even previously.
