What Would McConnell Have Done?

But there are some reports that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was open to it at that point, according to Defterios. The key question is whether or not Republicans will vote for impeachment and lock themselves into a trial before they can make up their minds about who should be charged with crimes.
