The Importance of Cambodia in the Global Economy
Cambodia produces vast volumes of garments in apparel or for international markets. Almost every brand that producing in Cambodia aims around zero deforestation and make claims around decarbonisation not yet zero carbon, so zero waste to landfill. There is an entire government dump on the outskirts of Phnom Penh which is specifically dedicated to the government industry. You can literally walk over a landfill picking out their labels from the ground. All of these brands, they all have their sustainability claim, they all stay in the world.
