The Fortress of Caja Has Finally Falled
The fortress of caja had been under continuous siege for over a year now, and in that time, conditions inside had gotten atrocious. It was not meant to house and feed seven thousand people, and disease and starvation had set in early and then only gotten worse. Sucre seconded saintander's fairly reasonable skepticism. Ten years of peace would set us straight to day. Our army has estimated costs of 16 to 18 million dollars. Our income is seven to eight from where will we extract the difference? The way to do it may be to shrink the army and get rid of the navy.
