Motherhood and Professional Ambition Are Not Compatible
A lot of mombs are still conditioned not to ask for that, and to still feel gilt about prioritizing the kinds of things they want to see in their professional life. ben: Many of us have been socialized to be modest, to be self effacing. I personally find it so much easier to demand things. But when it comes to myself, asking for what i deserve is incredibly hard. And i think hope that this generation of women coming up will be able to integrate that message into their lives.
