The Twelve Turned Back and No Longer Walked With Jesus
Many people who had been following after Jesus because of His miracles were turning away. The reason many of these disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him is because of what He just said. John uses the term disciples, but he's not talking about the Twelve, the who we commonly refer to as the disciples. They discovered this is going to be harder than I thought it was going to be.
