Preparation for Can Starts Away
I would say preparation for can starts away before you even think about the topic for your audience. And second thing to add to what martin andrews said is, er like audiences genuinely curious. If you treat them like they're generally curious about your solution, instead of thinking they are trying to question you or something, it changes the whole attitude about answering the question. It becomes more like a conversation, ar extension of your presentation. This is particularly true when you have hostile questions that are truly, truly difficult - in a crisis situation.
