Hidden Gems in Kyoto That Tourists Might Overlook

In the West, there's like no disrespect in sitting down. In Japanese culture, I feel sitting down is kind of it's being slightly less respectful. So some of the very touristy places are worth seeing. But for example, Fushami Inadi shrine, the shrine of the Fox God is incredibly crowded at the bottom. You can't go home and say, I've been to Kyoto and haven't seen the bamboo forest. The problem is there are two problems with it. Number one, it's incredibly crowded. Number two, it's a bit short.
