Amy Beach's Violin
Amy Beach was an incredible musician able to write music by the age of something like six or seven. She could play music in four parts by ear so this is a woman who was just incredibly talented she was born in America. As a wind player we are limited by how long we can hold our breath to play a phrase yeah string players aren't necessarily limited in the same way but you can hear in this particular recording as well when she's playing the phrase she's breathing with it as well and that just makes the whole action of playing an instrument and playing music and making music just makes it so much more human to me.
