Cheddar Man is the oldest, almost complete skeleton ever to be found in the British Isles. His descendants disappeared about 6,000 years ago at the same time as we see a new influx of people who moved across Europe from Anatolia and brought farming with them. And I think there's a pretty good argument for the fact that they would have been aided in their journey by infectious diseases.
