Rule Seven, Do What Is Meaningful and Not What Is Expedient

I would say, until you have done everything you possibly can to put yourself in orderd it's actually an optimistic doctrine. It implies that what you do in the confines of your personal life is far more important than you might think. So rule seven, pursue what is meaningful and not what is expedient. And rule eight is, tell the truth, or at least don't lie. There isn't a better way of putting it. Whether you're religious or not, there's depths of hatred that are so deep that that language is the only language that properly captures it.
