According to official figures, China has a GDP per capita of just over $10,000. If we apply the recommended adjustments that could be as low as $4,500. The sad part is that China doesn't need to lie about these figures. They would be impressive either way. Even when taking the most conservative estimates, their growth score goes from a 10 out of 10 to an 8 out of 10.
